The Foundation is pleased to announce that grants for community improvement were awarded to the following organizations at its September 2022 meeting.

• Friends of the River for clean-ups along the riverway
• Salina Child Care Association for operating costs
• Salina Education Foundation for increasing grant making to classroom teachers
• Salina Grace for winter shelter, community resource center, and equipment
• Special Olympics Kansas – assistance for training for athletes, volunteers, and coaches
• USD 305 for micro-scholarships
• Youth Baseball Fund to help young people participate in baseball
